Kimberly Alydon is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at 416 Chiro. She is registered, in good standing, with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She can also be found on Psychology Today.
Kimberly studied at Yorkville University to obtain her Masters in Counselling Psychology. Prior to that she received her Business Administration degree at Toronto Metropolitan University.
She has done additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Gottman Relationship Therapy. She has extensive experience working with clients dealing with life transitions, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and women’s issues. She also has a special interest in helping client’s with anxiety, depression, and gender identity.
She believes in inclusivity, which includes working with the LGBTQ+ community and people of all ages and backgrounds.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a genuine commitment to your well-being. She believes that everyone has the inner strength and resilience to overcome life's difficulties, and her role is to provide you with the support and guidance needed to unlock your potential for growth and healing.
She works with people who may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, navigating a major life change, self-esteem issues or struggling with persistent anxiety or depression. It's essential to have a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and she hopes to create that space with you.
