Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is the application of small electrodes placed on the skin with electricity passing through. The machine used is called IFC (interferential current) and is an effective modality for both acute and chronic conditions. It is used to decrease pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, and ease muscle spasms.
